(Gunnison, Colorado): Rocky Mountain Television has announced the development of a new 16-program TV series designed to aid sportsman with a host of simple to prepare meals utilizing the bounty of wild game, fish, birds and edibles from the outdoors.

“With so many hundreds of thousands of sportsmen and sportswomen visiting Colorado to come hunting and fishing each year, we are teaming up with local chefs to help people really enjoy everything they harvest from the out of doors,” says Andy Lightbody, President of RMTV.

COOKING ON THE WILD SIDE will be hosted by outdoor writer/videographer/chef—Kathy Mattoon, who brings years of experience from the field to the table in preparing dishes that are earthy, easy and delicious to enjoy.

“My goal is to work with the Outdoor Industry to showcase and highlight products that are designed to bring out the best in all of nature’s offerings,” says Kathy Mattoon, Hostess of the new television program. “We want to show the variety of products that are out there to help make cooking and preparing a host of game and fish recipes easy!”
