David is originally from the home of blues, great BBQ, and Elvis; Memphis, TN. He spent 2 years in Murray, Kentucky studying Broadcast and Photography at Murray State University. From there he went to work as a videographer for WPSD TV the NBC affiliate in Paducah, KY. Working there for a year and a half, he gained valuable training in photojournalism and live television, and also helped win third place for a Team Feature Story in the Kentucky News Photographers Association for 2004, WPSD won station of the year as well.

He came to Gunnison on a whim and is fitting right into place. David joined the staff at Rocky Mountain Television in the summer of 2005 and since then has helped produce award winning programming both locally and nationally. David has taken a lead role in the creative developement at Rocky Mountain Television. He feels right at home in the mountains and looks foward to many years of learning and growing with the company.
