Kathy Mattoon is the General Manager for Rocky Mountain Television. A renowned local artist with years of experience in painting murals, event windows and crafts, Kathy has been an instrumental member of the RMTV team for nearly 5-years.

Kathy is a top videographer both in the studio and in the field, and produces and coordinates a host of RMTV programming for both local and national clients.

She is a active member of:

Western Outdoors Writers ( WOW )-- 2006-- Treasurer/ Member Board of Directors

Western Outdoor Writers ( WOW ) -- Active Member

Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) -- Charter / Voting Member

In addition, Kathy also is an “on-camera” personality by hosting two popular RMTV shows—COOKING ON THE WILD SIDE, and MAKING IT SIMPLE.

COOKING ON THE WILD SIDE is designed to demonstrate to the RMTV viewer a host of recipes that are easily prepared by using everything from domestic meats to the finest wild game and fish from the high mountains of Colorado. Kathy works with local viewers who submit “killer recipes,” as well as many local chefs throughout the region in sharing some great eating opportunities.

MAKING IT SIMPLE is a program designed to demonstrate a host of home improvements, crafts and projects that will save the viewer money… so that they have more money to spend on other leisure products and services. Kathy works with local venders and suppliers on everything from tile projects, putting in a patio or garden, and craft ideas that everyone can do and enjoy.
